Contractors are on track to finish the new roof on Hutt Hospital's Clock Tower Building by mid-April.
The next few weeks will see the last of the old roofing tiles removed and replaced by the new Colour Steel roofing.
Construction work will continue inside and outside the roofspace including:
- carpentry and metal work
- installation of the insulation
- inspections and remedial works
- scaffolding removaland site clean-up.
Patients and visitors driving or walking in the hospital grounds near the construction site should continue to take extra care as traffic volumes have increased due to the number of contractor vehicles onsite.
